Historic cabin built in 1950 by my grandfather at the confluence of two Laramie River tributaries on 12 acres at the foot of the Snowy Range Mountains. 1600 SF home with modern amenities in an authentic Wyoming mountain setting. Watch moose pass by while sitting in the hot tub, catch fish in the stocked pond, warm up by the fireplace after a day in the mountains, and grill on the deck overlooking the creek. Our family s cabin is the perfect private hideaway or convenient base for your adventure! Guests have full use of the entire home, deck, creeks, nature trails and pond. Pick raspberries creekside in season. Fly fish the creeks for wild brook trout or let the kids drop a line into the stocked pond (in season). Trailer parking is easy in our 9 acre pasture. Sit among mature aspens and listen to the breeze. Full use of house (except for a few locked cupboards and closets) and property (except for garage and barn, where we store equipment). Surrounding neighbors like their privacy, but you can follow a road from our property to the Medicine Bow National Forest, and hike/ride/ski for days. We live 30 minutes away in Laramie. We re available just about any time by phone (there s a landline in the cabin, and reasonable mobile coverage for Verizon). The cabin was built in 1950, and it has its own personality and quirks. Please read the house manual so that you get to know them as much as possible. Note that the washer is only available during warm weather. It cannot be used during freezing weather. Walk across the bridge right outside the door to enjoy a private wooded oasis. Check out the surrounding Corner Mountain and Centennial Ridge. Play in the creek (but NOT when the snow melt is running - then the creek is DANGEROUS for people and pets). The property to the west is locked, but you can wander down North Fork Road and enjoy the quiet and view across the valley, or up Rainbow Valley Road and head into the national forest.
