Positive: Service: Yemti at the front office truly stood out. From our very first interaction until the end of our stay, she delivered exceptional service, handling our queries, calls, and ensuring everything was well taken care of. The housekeeping team, in-room dining delivery staff were also good. That said, there is some room for improvement in the buffet service. On multiple occasions, despite the floor not being busy, we had to ask several times for simple items like water or tissues. At times, one request was fulfilled while the other was overlooked, and on three separate occasions, I even had to go and request water from the host near the entrance. Poosa Thai, one of the breakfast buffet staff members, was notably attentive and proactive on the days she served us,this level of attentiveness makes a real difference. Food: The quality, taste, and variety of the breakfast buffet and in-room dining were excellent. The in-room dining menu was extensive, and the dishes were consistently tasty. However, the savory selection at the breakfast buffet leaned heavily toward Indian cuisine. While there were options for international guests, the bread and condiments section felt repetitive during a longer stay. Adding more variety could enhance the experience for extended guests. Room Cleaning, Spa & Gym: The cleaning schedule and standards were maintained at a very high level throughout the stay. I couldn’t catch his name, but the Housekeeping staff member assigned to our room was truly outstanding, always greeting us with a warm smile, making us feel comfortable to ask for anything, and even thoughtfully refilling extra water once he noticed how much we drank. It was a genuinely thoughtful and appreciated gesture. The spa was a pleasant experience, and the gym was impressively spacious with a wide range of equipment. The property was exceptionally well maintained,the rooms, outlets, and overall structure were in pristine condition.
Negative: Immigration: Although this is not directly tied to the stay itself, I believe it is part of the guest experience. Upon departure, we faced an issue at immigration where we were informed that our stay had not been registered in the system by the hotel. Fortunately, I had a printed tax invoice, which resolved the matter on the spot. However, we were told that this might cause complications during our next visit to India, which was concerning. I had to request a contact via Booking.com chat to follow up, and initially, the team was hesitant to share one. Only after explaining that this is standard practice at most properties did they provide an email. Once I reached out, a senior team member responded promptly and assured us that corrective action would be taken. While I appreciate their swift follow-up, better training on handling such matters could prevent similar situations in the future. We were informed at check-in that our passport details would be submitted to immigration, so this discrepancy was disappointing and slightly overshadowed the end of an otherwise pleasant trip. Spa: We opted for a couple’s head massage. While my partner enjoyed a relaxing treatment, mine was rather rough on the scalp. We had booked the same type of massage, but the experiences were noticeably different, which was only discovered afterward. Consistency in service would make a big difference here. Location: The hotel is located on the outskirts of the city, which sometimes made it challenging to secure a taxi via ride-hailing apps. Some drivers also requested additional charges for the return trip due to the distance. I arranged my own transport through a personal contact, but guests relying solely on apps may find this inconvenient.
Summary: Pleasant stay with great service & facilities, but immigration issue from hotel was disappointing.
