After over 10 years of sharing this special getaway with the public, we have now decided to change pace and use it much more ourselves. Come the end of January 2021, Grampians Vista will no longer be available for rent. We thank the many guests who have stayed with us over the last decade.
Following the outstanding popularity of our first Halls Gap property, Grampians Blue (also listed on HomeAway), Grampians Vista is very much put together on the same formula - affordable quality modern accomodation for couples, families or groups of friends with exceptional attention to the finer details.
Ideal for couples or families, Grampians Vista is the perfect base from which to enjoy all this wonderful region has to offer. Spend a week or a weekend bushwalking or rock climbing, wineries or restraunts, fishing or simply just taking in the magnificent scenery and abundant local wildlife.
If the location and structure of this property seems familiar to you, prior to the overhaul it was known for many years as "BJ & Ollies".
PROPERTY FEATURES.....
-New fit out throughout - paint, floor and window coverings, lights, all furniture, bathroom, kitchen and all appliances
-Free standing wood heater in living area & fully air-conditioned (reverse cycle split system)
-Three bedrooms with a total of two QS beds and two sets of bunks - sleeps eight comfortably. Master bedroom has 32" LCD TV. (Note - bedrooms are locked separately and access provided based on the number of guests booked)
-Separate toilet
-42" Full HD Plasma TV, Blue Ray DVD, CD player with "I" dock and library of DVDs and CDs
-Fully-equipped kitchen with microwave, electric rangehood, fan forced oven and dishwasher and top quality cutlery, crockery and cookware
-Enjoy breakfast watching the sun rise over Mount William Range from spacious elevated front deck
-Quality portacot, high chair, baby bath and kids toys provided.
-Laundry facilities, including washing machine
-House is located in a very private settling on a one acre block with long driveway that crosses a small creek

LOCATION.....
From Melbourne, Halls Gap is roughly three hours travel north on the Western Highway. Either turnoff at Ararat or Stawell and follow the directions straight through to the township of Halls Gap.
Approximately two kilometres from the main town of Halls Gap, on the Grampians Road, turn right onto Young Road. Take first turn left into Scott Road. Grampians Vista is located on the right. A fully sealed bike and walking path leads back into Halls Gap - an easy 20 min walk one way.
