An open and large wonderfully cared for dog friendly home with gorgeous mountain, farm and water views. You'll love the amazing sunsets from the enormous front porch and relaxing in the lovely courtyard. Lots of space for large groups or several families. There is one-level access to all rooms, courtyard and deck.
The house is on more than 3 acres of private meadow with lovely landscaping and fruit trees. The home features a long private driveway and a house-length front deck. The back courtyard is a delight with mature landscaping, water features, a dining table and lots of peaceful sitting areas.
Bedroom #1--Main Suite --New king bed, new bedding. Baby crib in room. Full bathroom includes bath, tub and large closet. Well equipped with new towels.
Bedroom #2--Junior Suite--New queen bed, new bedding. Desk and sitting area. 3/4 bathroom with shower stall, new towels and large closet.
Bedroom #3--New queen bed, new bedding. Lovely mountain views and built-in desk.
Bedroom #4--New queen bed, new bedding. Lovely views and closet.
Hallway bathroom (#3)--3/4 bathroom with shower stall. New towels and linens.
Kitchen--modern and well equipped for cooking for a large group. High end appliances.
There's a dining area, a family room and a lounge area where you can sit and enjoy the view for hours. Washer and dryer are in the utility room just off the kitchen.
The cobblestone courtyard had a big outdoor dining table and water features. Lots of separate and private spaces to sit and be peaceful.
There's high speed internet with robust Wifi, a big screen TV with a fire stick, lots of books and games, bikes to use and a Traeger grill on the front deck. Air mattresses are available to add capacity if needed.
The house is located in Freeland, WA, less than 90 minutes from Seattle. There is lots of privacy but still very convenient to the Clinton Ferry and many restaurants, wineries and other establishments.
Whidbey Island is an amazing place with lots to offer. There are many activities within walking/biking/short driving distance of the house including Double Bluff Beach (off leash area for dogs), Langley downtown, Sunlight Beach, Camp Casey, Greenbank, Coupeville and many others.
The home is all on one level, with no steps or stairs required to get in or around. There's a ramp to the front porch and gently sloping ramps in the courtyard.
Additional separate 750 sq ft studio apartment above the garage is available for extra fee upon request. The apartment has a 3/4 bathroom, kitchenette, a queen bed and two twin beds. It will not be rented separately from the main house--it's available for a fee if you need extra space.
No outside music or loud noise on porch or in courtyard. Please be mindful of neighbors--sound carries.
No guests allowed on the property, other than people that are stated in rental agreement, unless specifically permitted.
Please note there is a security camera outside on the side of the house pointed towards the driveway. The driveway is shared with a barn next door that is not part of the rental. On rare occasions someone could need access to the barn.
