Gorgeous eighth floor, west end (best views), corner penthouse unit with TWO balconies with water views! This three bedroom, three bath unit has been totally remodeled - everything is brand new; window treatments, plank tile floor, paint, cabinets, granite, furniture and bedding. Water views everywhere you go as well as night views of city lights!
Your deluxe kitchen is stocked with everything you need to prepare a meal at home if you are too tired to go out after a long day at the beach. All brand new stainless appliances and granite with new white cabinets have been added. Adjacent to the kitchen is a separate laundry room with a full size washer and dryer.
Dine on the counter height dining table with 6 chairs and watch the activity in town through your large picture window or choose a chair that has a fantastic view of the gulf! There are three additional bar stools so everyone has a place to dine.
The living room has a new sleeper sofa, loveseat and chairs. The sleeper has an upgraded sleeper mattress! Watch TV or a movie on the brand new 60" flat screen TV. There is plenty of seating for everyone to gather at night. Sliding doors from the living room give you access to the massive, corner balcony with unparalleled views to the east and west. Dine al fresco on your balcony while you watch the sunset or enjoy coffee in the morning while watching the dolphins frolic in the emerald waters.
The master boasts a king bed with a brand new, plush pillow-top mattress along with a large, brand new flat screen TV. Lay in bed with magnificent water views from the sliding glass doors leading to your gulf front balcony as well as from a large picture window with a panoramic view down the beach to the west! Your master bath has a sink in a separate dressing area as well as the main bathroom with a second sink, tub and separate shower.
Guest will love the guest bedroom with a twin over a double bunk bed and a 42" flat screen TV. New mattresses and bedding complete this room which has a full bathroom with new granite and cabinets.
A second spacious master is located at the front of the unit and has a king size bed with a plush, pillow-top mattress. Another 42" flat screen TV is located in this room so you can relax in privacy. This third bedroom has its own private balcony with pretty views of the city and unobstructed gulf views. There is a very large, private ensuite bathroom with a separate dressing area and walk- in closet. Two sinks, a large soaking tub and separate shower just like the one located in the main master bedroom can be enjoyed by those that choose this room for their stay.
Unit 814 comes with an assigned parking spot under the building which provides a convenience all units do not have. It is located near the west end elevator for ease of getting to your unit!
Important: Please note that this unit has a max occupancy of 10 guests, including children. These are rules set by the State of Florida Fire Codes. If you arrive with more than the max occupancy listed, the HOA will not allow you to check-in and you will not be entitled to a refund.
Arrival notes: Sterling Sands has open parking in the outside lot. You will need to check in at the HOA office at the West end of the parking garage to register your vehicle, and obtain a parking pass. If you check in after hours, please go to the HOA office the next morning to register your vehicle.
Guests receive a welcome kit with small dishwasher detergent, dish soap, sponge, a roll of paper towels, and laundry detergent. There will be an initial trash liner in each receptacle and a set of toilet paper and soaps for each bathroom provided. Guests will need to replenish supplies for longer stays.
Sterling Sands is a very popular, low-density building with a private beach. Guests love the glass paneled balconies for unobstructed views of the turquoise waters. A large swimming pool that is heated in the cooler months with an expanded, paver pool deck is wonderful for those who do not want to go to the beach. When you do decide to put your feet in the cool, white powdery sand there are two boardwalks to get to the beach; one each on the west and east end of the property. Each boardwalk has two showers and hoses for your convenience. An on-site beach service provides chair rental, kayak and stand-up paddle board rentals from March 1-October 31.There are three gas grills on the grounds for cooking that fresh catch from a day out fishing in the gulf. After dinner, you can go to the newly renovated fitness room or you can walk across the street and enjoy a game of mini-golf, go-cart riding or small rides with the children.
There is plenty to do when you decide to leave the beach. Too many restaurants to name and shopping areas to visit such as Destin Commons and the Silver Sands outlet mall are all close to the condo. Numerous golf courses, boat rentals and deep-sea fishing charters will satisfy any outdoor enthusiast. You will discover and see why so many people return to Destin year after year to make their family vacation memories!
