Named after architect, William Gordon, this historic, rustic cottage was built in 1909. As an homage to the “good ol’ days”, this home is decorated with pieces that harken back to various snapshots of time within history... you might even be pleasantly surprised to see what you find!
Close to the action, but also in a more private neighborhood of Alki in West Seattle, there is free street parking available, with no time restrictions. It has a fully fenced in yard for that added bit of privacy.
This rental is the upstairs (self-contained unit) in a duplex; the downstairs unit may be occupied during your stay. There are no shared spaces, other than a separate shared laundry room (downstairs), the pathway from the street, and the landscaped garden area. The upstairs front patio and furnished back deck is private to your unit.

This single-story unit is accessed via nine outdoor, uneven steps (please be aware of this if you are carrying heavy luggage).
Parents of very young children please take note: Due to some indoor decor containing some small rocks, seashells and pebbles around the indoor plants, this space may not be suitable for very young children who may desire to put small objects in their mouth.
As this is a family friendly property, no smoking (including marijuana and vaping) inside and outside the house-anywhere on the premises. If the guest wishes to smoke, they may do so outside the property- on the street outside the fence/gate. Quiet hours between 10pm and 7am, no parties or events please. Maximum 4-person occupancy.
