This Beautifully decorated luxury custom built lake home sits on the shores of Douglass Lake in Sevierville Tennessee. A water front vacation home in Timberlake Bay, a gated community with club house and pool. Named The Golden Bear, this home has views of the most beautiful golden sunsets. 5 bedroom 6 bathroom home with a fully stocked ready to cook custom kitchen. Bring your boat or rent one from several marina's in the area. Downstairs family room with large 82" smart tv and games. Lower garage opens to deck with amazing views of the lake and makes a great party room. You will love it!!

Nestled in the foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains sit's one of East Tennessee's best treasure's, Douglas Lake. Located just minutes from Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg and historic Sevierville. Timberlake Bay is a gated community of private homes and overnight rentals. The community offers a pool, clubhouse and picnic area. Location is key to Timberlake Bay. We are only 15 minutes to all of the shopping, restaurants and theme parks, and 30 minutes to the National Park.
Other Things to Note:
Douglas Lakes water levels are dropped during the winter from October to March leaving only a steam behind the home. But don't let that discourage you from booking during those months. With this home's location you are still only 15 minutes to all major attractions in Pigeon Forge. The low lake level offers beauty in itself. The Fall colors and winter snow make this a beautiful spot to spend your vacation.

Summary: The house was just as advertised, and actually even bigger than it appeared in the pictures. The house is very comfortable, and the lake area is very serene. It is a hidden gem, and a welcome treat after venturing out for day trips and activities. It was a great getaway for all age groups ranging from 78 to 17. I would love to return in the future.
