Positive: We had a good size, double fronted corner room upstairs, so lots of light and plenty of shelf space in the bay windows to put things which made a big difference. We were quite comfortable for our 4 nights. The fridge and microwave at the end of the hall were convenient. There were no glasses in the room so we borrowed some from the breakfast room. Breakfasts were very good - salad, yoghurt and fruit, a hot dish of the day, and pastries. Some staff were more attentive than others. There's a ski drying room in the basement and a path next to the property, a short cut to Escal Plaza and Goryu ski lifts, a 3 min walk if there's not too much snow.
Negative: Cleanliness could have been better - the room needed a good vacuum, the carpet was covered in black hair. There was so much snow during our stay, it was difficult to walk up to the front door. The stairs should have been cleared more frequently.
