Positive: Our host, Apostelo, met us at the house with the keys and explained everything to us, eg hot water switch, keys, fruit & water ready for us. He was very quick to respond on a couple of queries we had later. Air con in the bedroom was much appreciated as was the reliable wifi. It was spotlessly clean and well stocked with lots of towels, linen, cleaning products etc. The location was excellent for the sandy beach and local restaurants. It was a very peaceful spot and we loved watching the sunset and the passing ships. The different areas to sit with either a table or on the sun loungers were useful to always find sun or shade as needed. We didn't have a rental car as everything we needed - friendly supermarket & bus stop to Chania, was nearby.
Negative: We had some trouble finding the house, and were grateful for a patient taxi driver. Perhaps some clear instructions or a map would be helpful? The bathroom is down steps at the front, which wasn't ideal but manageable, but we did know about it from a previous review.
