Positive: While the room itself was spacious and could have been nice, it was poorly maintained. The surrounding area consisted mainly of other accommodations with few options for food or shopping, though a positive point was that Chania Town was only a 20‑minute drive away
Negative: I stayed for four nights at Gerona Mare Apartments in Gerani, Chania, and unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. Upon arrival, the room was dusty and had trash in several areas. The bathroom taps, shower curtain, and balcony table were rusty. Housekeeping had already finished for the day, so we had to buy cleaning supplies and clean the room ourselves. During our stay, the room was cleaned only once. Parking was also an issue — on two nights, returning around 11 PM, all parking spots were taken, and we were forced to park farther away in an unsuitable area.
