The Retreat on Nichols is a new contemporary micro-cottage within biking or golf-carting distance to downtown Fairhope. We offer two pristine 720SF units. The Mondrian (Suite A) & The O'Keeffe (Suite B) - each sleep 4. Units can be rented separately or together. Perfect for groups or a private getaway. Relax on a private patio with hot tub or enjoy the common outdoor kitchen, wood and gas-fired pizza ovens, fire pit, sip-'n-dip pool, lawn & board games, electric bikes, and golf cart. This Listing is for Suite A, The Mondrian. Guests will enter the Retreat on Nichols through a Mondrian inspired automatic gate into a natural oasis. Designed as an eco-centric, biophilic community for the discriminating Airbnb traveler. These cottages are Platinum Fortified, Energy Efficient, and extremely quiet. We created these two unique and private cottages to help facilitate conversation and encourage connections amongst travelers. We are located within biking and golf-carting distance of all that Fairhope has to offer including restaurants, art galleries, shops, parks, and beach sunsets. ONSITE amenities include electric car charging station, electric bikes, golf cart, sip and dip pool, an outdoor kitchen, wood-burning pizza oven (topped with a fresh herb garden), gas pizza oven, BBQ grills, fire pit, water features, sculptural art, trellised courtyard, citrus orchard, and numerous fruit trees. LIVING ROOM amenities include Wi-Fi, USB ports, smart large screen 4K-UHD Samsung TV, surround sound stereo, sleeper sofa with deluxe gel mattress, reading material, family/adult games, ceiling fan. KITCHEN amenities include paper towels, flatware, dishes, glassware, serving dishes, cooking utensils, pots/pans, gas range/oven, counter depth refrigerator with icemaker, micro-dishwasher, filtered water, Keurig cup and pot coffee maker, toaster, blender. BEDROOM amenities include king bed, Egyptian cotton sheets, white noise machine, smart TV, ceiling fan, blackout blinds/drapes, desk, wardrobes with clothes hangers, 2 luggage racks. BATHROOM amenities include walk in shower, double vanity, hair dryer, botanical body wash, shampoo, conditioner, tissue, toilet paper. COMMON AREA amenities include laundry/storage room with washer and dryer, rolling cot, floor futon, Pack-n-play, highchair, crockpot, 20-,15- and 10-quart boiling pots, Cuisinart commercial ice cream maker, electric grill, large mixing bowls, large serving trays, a tub full of pizza making tools, muffin tins, bread tins, pie pans, beach towels and chairs, picnic items, ice coolers, kickball, football, as well as other yard game sets and accessories. A pin-coded electronic gate code will be provided upon arrival. PLUS, Crickets, earth worms, and goldfish are available for guests to feed Moe, Joe, and Tiny Toe. These are our turtles which were hatched on the property during the landscaping of the micro-cottages. HOUSEKEEPING PROTOCOL- The safety of our guests and our community is of our utmost concern. We aim to provide beyond exceptional detail to the cleaning and sanitizing of surfaces both in the Suites and on the grounds of the property. We will proactively do our part in guarding against contamination and the prevention of the spreading of germs and viruses. We will remain diligent with our cleaning procedures (that will meet and/or exceed World Health Organization standards) by ensuring each Suite and the Common Room is stocked, with all necessary, supplies to maintain a clean, sanitary space for our guests.
