Created by Austin William Davidson -- internationally recognized and awarded host, artist, interior designer, and chief of operations for Wander Limited - this property transports guests through time and space. Designed as a rebuttal to the generic lifeless homes so common on vacation rental sites, Galactic Oasis 1966 was created to feel like a breathing functioning home in the year 1966 -- while still offering all the modern amenities (and more) of a luxury STVR today. Explore the "lives" of the fictional house residents -- Air Force test pilot Colonel Lance T. Trident and his family -- as he works with NASA to prepare for the first attempted Moon landing in the year 1966, . Guests are encouraged to open drawers and cabinets and reveal the story behind the (fictional) house residents. Old magazines, viewfinders, scrapbooks, diaries, and other historical family "easter-eggs" are tucked away throughout the house awaiting curious guest discovery!
Each room boasts unbelievable custom design, art, woodwork, and lighting handmade exclusively for this project by Wander founders, Austin and Kila. The house is a labor of love -- the culmination of one year's work to bring to realty, this property inhabits a region somewhere between an art gallery, museum, amusement park, and a luxury STVR.

Summary: This home was so well done from top to bottom. The space age theme was accomplished quite tastefully and with great ideas as to how to display and showcase that theme. There was so much to see and read in the home itself, we never left the property! The owners have placed qr codes all over the house to give instructions or helpful hints, including places to visit. The place was remarkably clean everywhere. Comfy beds. TV s in every room. We thought check-in and out was really easy. We really enjoyed every minute!
