Summary: What a fantastic vacation! The listing doesn't do this gem justice. Amazing location with the beach just down a few flights of stairs. Francesca provided everything we could have asked for and more. Fabio was always available and very helpful and friendly. We enjoyed our aperitivi on the balcony many evenings, watching the families play in the surf. This is a super laidback town on the Italian Riviera. We got to know the neighbourhood very quickly, and even though we ate out most evenings and at lunch, we became well-acquainted with the local merchants, too. The cheese store, the bakeries, the fruit lady. Everyone was welcoming and friendly. A few favourites - Benvenuti a Bordo a restaurant by the outdoor swimming pool. La Battigia for amazing pizzas and pasta, and very pleasant staff. And a pleasant find, Trattoria al Serraglio, which we discovered by chance on a hike. We went to Cinque Terre, and Camoglie, but honestly, Sori is just as pretty and a lot less frenetic, because most of the tourists are local, and are there for a long stay, not just a few hours. We cut our visit to Vernazza (Cinque Terre) short, because we couldn't wait to go back to Sori! I hope that Sori remains laidback, because that is one of the best things about this location.
