Complete with private, heated, pool and hot tub, 'Oasis' features 2 master bedroom suites (one upstairs/one downstairs), 2 spacious guest bedrooms, 4 bathrooms and a fully-equipped kitchen and large living/dining areas open to the pool.

Summary: The Oasis is a beautiful home in Destin. It's in a gated community, and the neighborhood is immaculate. We felt very secure there. The house is well furnished, and comfortable. We had all the amenities we needed. The gulf and the jetty are an easy walk from the house.Our host, Steve, was a text away. He answered my questions promptly, and provided a high chair and a PackNPlay when requested. Steve was very easy to communicate with, and checked on us several times.The house backs up to the neighborhood lake. All of us enjoyed the scenery, and watching all the birds and ducks. The pool is on that side of the house which was very nice.The only thing that could have been improved was the lighting. There are many light switches! Steve explained that the labels won't stay on. This wasn't a problem for us as it was pretty simple to figure out what switch went with a particular light/fan. The kitchen was very dim, and it was difficult to see well. Steve said the ballasts were bad. The only florescent light was above the sink. It worked, but was very dim. There were six strip lights under the cabinets, containing a total of 18 halogen bulbs. Those bulbs were either missing or didn't work. Only 2 of the 18 bulbs worked. LED strip lights are bright, cheap, and can be easily installed as replacements. I didn't mention it to Steve, but the pool light needs to be replaced; it didn't work at all while we were there.Don't hesitate to book the Oasis; it's fabulous!
