Villa Gardenia is a south facing villa only 5km to the sandy beach in Javea, with air - conditioning, WiFi, large private swimming pool and UK TV
Villa Gardenia sits in a large 1000 meter plot with views behind of The Montgo & across the valley to mountains..The villa is on two levels and the upper level comprises of naya, lounge / dining room, a fully equipped kitchen, 2 double bedrooms and a twin room in the main villa, The master bedroom has an en-suite bathroom and air conditioning whilst the other bedrooms have fans and air-conditioning to keep them cool in the summer. There is also a family bathroom.
On the lower level there is a separate self contained apartment comprising of a double bedroom, bathroom, kitchenette and living area. Fansand air conditioning are provided to keep the apartment cool.
Outdoors is the lovely Mediterranean private garden, pond and the larger than average swimming pool, 12m x 5m. You will also find outdoor kitchen, shower and secure parking on either of the two drives or in the garage. All the patios and gardens are furnished for sunbathing, BBQ´s and AL-fresco dining. The rear patio is very spacious with dinning table,chairs and views to the Montgo national park
Located in a good, quiet, sought after neighbourhood and only five minutes drive to The Old Town, Port,shops, beaches etc. The villa is on a flat, private plot and makes for an ideal relaxing holiday.

Summary: The villa was very dated and didn't seem ready to welcome guests for a holiday. The external grounds were not kept well, full of weeds, the grass was so overgrown the children couldn't play on it at all. The pool water looked clean but was very cold, too cold to swim in. The villa was freezing at night time. There are storage heaters around the villa to plug in but when plugged in they trip the electricity so can't be used. The bedding on the beds can only be likened to army blankets that are tatty, worn and smelled fusty. The windows are rotten and did not keep noise or cold out at all. Some of the kitchen was so dirty, the extractor fan above the cooker has never been cleaned and base units looked like they had been chewed off by dogs or some animals. The beds were so uncomfortable, the mattresses need changing, they aren't even flat. On day 4 the electrics totally went in the villa. We had to wait until the next morning for an electrician, we had no lights, heating, WiFi, cooker and the fridge defrosted ruining all our freezer food. Day 6 we had no water to the villa at all. A rotten garden chair collapsed under my daughter whilst eating breakfast causing injury. The back door couldn't be opened by the handle, with the villa organiser telling us to kick open the door with our feet. This was the worse stay we have ever had in Javea from 6 years worth of visiting. Reported all this to the owners, to be told the issues were out of their control. Will not be booking through VRBO again
