Forest Cottage is situated in the heart of Highfields only 10km north of Toowoomba just off the New England Hwy. Forest cottage is a double brick two bedroom, two bathroom English cottage with two king size beds, open fireplace heating, covered car parking. Each bedroom with their own private courtyard surrounded by trees and terraced gardens. Well appointed kitchen facilities, television, living area with comfortable furnishings. This cottage has disabled facilities and access. All linen is supplied, BBQ and free WiFi. Forest cottage border's Davidson’s Arboretum (Latin for tree garden) an exquisite 1ha of many varieties of beautiful autumn trees from around the world. The Highfields District offers many local eateries, restaurants, old country pubs, arts and craft shops, art galleries, historical sites and museums, country markets, flower art, pottery, gifts, scrapbooking, quilting, homemade chocolates shops, parks and gardens, national parks and lakes. Many within walking distance. Forest cottage is one of two cottages on the property. Forest Cottage is pet friendly, please be aware Forest cottage is not fully fenced, but is located at the rear of the property. If your pet has been accepted to stay at Homewood Cottages please see conditions below: *Homewood Cottages borders onto a beautiful park and there is also an off leash dog park within walking distance from cottages. *Forest cottage is not fully fenced but is located at the rear of the property. *No responsibility will be taken by Homewood Cottages for any injury to the owner/guests pet or injury to any other animal caused by the owner/guests pet during the length of stay. *It is the owner/guests responsibility to manage their pet’s behaviour at all times otherwise the owner/guest may be requested to have their pet removed from Homewood Cottages. *Any damage to buildings, contents, furnishings and grounds will be paid for in full by pet owner/guests. *Pets are not to be locked inside the cottage for extended periods of time while owner/guests are away from the property. *Pets are not permitted on any furniture or bedding. *We are also able to book your pet into boarding with the local vet situated within 1 km from Homewood Cottages if required.
