Positive: The actual room and location were fantastic. Bed was comfy. Best way to contact hotel is via telephone call as messages were not always answered. Could have done with more hangers in wardrobe, ample storage space. Short walk to local square where there are some fantastic eateries. It is such a lovely hotel and location and appears to be only hotel in the town. However if points raised were rectified it would be amazing.
Negative: Although the website stated daily clean this didn’t happen. On my 3rd day I had to request new towels, bin to be emptied and more coffee sachets in the room. I was informed room isn’t cleaned daily, beds are not turned (didn’t need this), water was complimentary on arrival only. Towels would normally be replaced in day 4 of a longer stay! However, towels and coffee were left but bin was not emptied. Unfortunately, during my last 2 days there was also no hot water. I didn’t see any staff at all during my stay. A family member also needed a room for a night and loved their room and location but like me had not hot water!
Summary: If you want a great room in a convenient locality but don’t expect hotel services.
