This 3-bedroom and 2-bathroom cottage is nested on 1.47 acres of serene woodland and can accommodate up to 9 guests. The house also features an advanced Wi-Fi mesh system, smart TVs in each room, and a whole-house back-up generator. Additionally, the home is located in a private gated community with paved roadways, no 4WD necessary! To fully enjoy the home’s tranquil mountain setting, the back yard houses two firepits, one below the house outfitted with Adirondack lounging chairs and the other; situated further down next to the creek, features wooden stools cut and shaped from the large trees surround the property. As well, the house’s back porch is outfitted with rocking chairs, a sofa, a hammock, and a Weber gas grill. Additionally, the cabin’s envelopment in nature allows for even more family activities like gold panning in the creek, exploring the nature trails surrounding the property, and fishing in the annually stocked catch-and-release trout pond. In the summer months (open Memorial Day to Labor Day) guests are able to enjoy the clubhouse swimming pool, harboring even more breathtaking views of the towering mountains and rolling hills of the area. During the nighttime, guests are able to see the thousands of flickering fireflies that populate the area. Just outside of the community there are activities such as hiking, sightseeing, fly fishing, boating, and golfing to be enjoyed. All of these activities can be enjoyed sat alongside Lake Glenville, which harbors 2 public access areas and a recreation area; housing picnic tables, a fishing pier, a swimming area with beach access, and public restrooms, with boat rentals being available. Although being fully enveloped in the peaceful mountainside, the house is situated only 30 minutes away from two major towns: Highlands and Cashiers. Within these towns there is a multitude of shopping, grocery stores, restaurants, breweries, coffee shops and more.
