Built in 1881, its generously proportioned double bedrooms and living areas can comfortably accommodate up to 7 adults for either short or long stays.
Located on a quiet residential street within easy reach of the town centre, Appleton House is ideally placed for guests to enjoy Newark and its surrounding areas, whether visiting for business or pleasure.
Northgate Train Station (LNER) is at the end of the street, whilst Newark Castle Train Station (Nottingham & Lincoln) is a 15 minute walk away. 1 parking permit is provided with the property.
Upon entering the house, guests are greeted by a cosy living room complete with sofas, fire and smart TV. The town and riverside provide some lovely walks and historic trails where you can discover more about the rich history of Newark. From May to September you can also enjoy a relaxing cruise up the River Trent on the HMS Sonning.
