Although close to everything, my villa is actually very quiet and private and It's ideal for your holiday stay thanks to the private pool, bbq and large sunbathing and garden area. You can pick ripe figs from your own tree in the summer. It's very easy to park on the road or in the carport but it's just a 5-10-minute walk into Kiti and to Tamala's the best local bar/restaurant around. It's great for groups of couples, business travelers, families (with kids and babies) and big groups of friends. All of the house is available for your use, this includes 4 large bedrooms, 2 with en-suites, 2 with balconies, and a large family bathroom complete with bath and shower. Downstairs there is a large communal living area with french windows leading to the secure and private garden and pool area. There is another large separate living area, where I have put a large double sofa bed that doesn't intrude into the main area, and there is a nearby downstairs toilet. There's a large kitchen with a dining table and a separate utility room with a back door leading to the carport. I have a large dining table that seats up to 10 in a shaded area in the garden as most people tend to eat outside and make use of the bbq. Also outside there is a shower for the pool and lots of seating and sunbeds for lounging around in the sun. Extra babies are more than welcome and I have provided 3 travel cots and 3 high chairs for your use. Babysitting services are also available upon request. I don't mind the odd well-behaved dog coming along too. I have prepared a folder for the villa with as much local knowledge as I can. Having lived in Kiti for 10 years obviously I know it like a local, so I have tried to give you some useful hints and tips on tried and tested things to do and some of my favourite places to visit in order for you to make the most of your holiday from day 1! I’ve also included a section on the house and any particular details or quirks you may need to know about, such as how to work the washing machine. The garden is quiet and private, I have no immediate next door neighbours and it is not really overlooked, the nearest neighbour would have to go out onto their upstairs balcony to see you and they only use their house as a holiday home. You may see the odd random flock of sheep passing along the road, but hey, this is Cyprus!! The location of the villa is ideal for your stay in Kiti, although in Cyprus many people do hire cars to explore the island, whilst staying at this villa a car is not necessarily essential if you don’t want to travel too far afield. The pretty village of Kiti is just a short 5-minute walk away and really has everything you will need for a relaxing holiday. There are frequent buses into Larnaca, Pervolia and Tersefanou. From Larnaca beach/seafront you can get buses to Ayia Napa and further afield if desired. In the village definitely try out the very popular local bar/restaurant just around the corner called Tamalas, where the host George will make you feel more than welcome. A good mix of Cypriots and mainly English people frequent this bar. Cocktail Happy Hour is 4-7! The food there is amazing and very reasonably priced. There’s also a full programme of TV sports viewing and regular live music events. Kiti Festival is centred around this area in August. There is also ample outdoors seating facing the pretty church and a blazing log fire for cozy winter evenings. The recently renovated square in the old part of Kiti is only a short walk around the corner from Tamalas and houses more bars and restaurants, the most popular at the moment being Jacksons Gastro Café Bar with plenty of outside tables are set around the village square and pretty church area. In winter the action moves indoors. If you carry on through the village square past Jacksons, a kilometre or two down the road you will find the bustling village of Pervolia comprising many more bars and restaurants for your enjoyment. All of these bars are very popular with tourists and often have entertainment on. One of my favourite haunts for lunch or coffee and the beach in the daytime is called Dipato, it is a lovely beach bar set overlooking the sea with amazingly beautiful views. The food is lovely and very reasonably priced. After taking in the views, you can then walk down the steps for a quick dip in the sea. Faros beach can be found below this bar just along the beach a little way. The Camel Park at Mazotos is conveniently located only 15 minutes from the villa along the coast road towards Zygi and well worth a day out if you have children.
