Unsere Ferienwohnung befindet sich in Pfrungen, am Rande des Naturschutzgebietes "Pfrunger Ried". Der schöne Badesee in Illmensee bietet ein Strandbad, das zum Erholen einlädt. Am Lengenweiler See kann man auch an einem Naturfreibad baden. Pfrungen ist ein optimaler Ausgangspunkt, der eine schöne Naturlandschaft für Radfahrer, Wanderer oder Nordic-Walking begeisterte bietet. Man kann Ausflüge an den Bodensee unternehmen, der nur ca. 25 km entfernt liegt. Ebenso ist die Schweiz, das Allgäu und Österreich mit dem Auto schnell erreichbar.
