Unsere Ferienwohnung liegt unterhalb des Klippenecks (980 m ü.d.M.), das mit 1938 Sonnenstunden im Jahr gleichzeitig einer der sonnenreichsten Orte und der höchstgelegene Segelflugplatz Deutschlands ist. Die Umgebung Denkingens bietet viele Wandermöglichkeiten. Auch kann man Ausflüge zum Donautal, in den Schwarzwald und an den Bodensee unternehmen oder sich die nächstgelegenen Städte Rottweil, Tuttlingen oder Villingen ansehen. Denkingen ist eine Gemeinde mit etwa 2500 Einwohnern. Im Ortszentrum gibt es eine Bäckerei, eine Metzgerei, Arzt- und Zahnarztpraxen und zwei Zweigstellen von Banken. Im Penny am Ortsrand bekommt man alle wesentlichen Lebensmittel. Für größere Einkäufe muss man ins 5 km entfernte Spaichingen fahren. Durch das gute Arbeitsplatzangebot ist Denkingen in den letzten Jahren gewachsen. Am Westhang der Alb sind einige Neubaugebiete entstanden. In diesem Neubaugebiet in ruhiger Lage befindet sich auch unsere Ferienwohnung.
Die Ferienwohnung ist die Einliegerwohnung unseres Hauses, das in ruhiger Lage am Ortsrand von Denkingen steht. Über eine kurze Treppe gelangt man zum separaten Eingang. Die 65 qm große Wohnung bietet maximal fünf Schlafplätze. Im Wohnzimmer können drei Personen übernachten: Die blaue Couch kann zu einem 1,40 m breiten Doppelbett ausgeklappt werden. Zusätzlich steht eine ausziehbare Schlafcouch (140x200) zur Verfügung. Der Esstisch kann bei Bedarf mit einer Einlegeplatte vergrößert werden. Außerdem stehen ein Flachbild-Fernseher, eine Stereoanlage, Bücher und einige Spiele zur Verfügung. Vom Wohnzimmer aus gelangt man über große Fenstertüren auf die auf der Südseite gelegene Terrasse. Im Schlafzimmer befindet sich ein breites Doppelbett (1,80m x 2,00m). Über große Fenstertüren kommt man von hier ebenfalls auf die Terrasse. Die Küche ist mit Elektroherd, Backofen, Kühlschrank, Geschirrspülmaschine, Mikrowelle, Wasserkocher, Kaffeemaschine, Toaster usw. komplett ausgestattet. Der Küchentisch bietet Platz für drei bis vier Personen. Im Bad mit WC und Duschkabine steht zusätzlich eine Waschmaschine. WLAN und Parkplätze stehen kostenfrei zur Verfügung.
