The gorgeous Coco Point Cottage has 180 feet of waterfront on Coco Bay at the north end of Green Turtle. Completed in April 2013 and updated after Hurricane Dorian. It was built with traditional cottage design and appeal in mind. It has painted v-match ceilings, exposed beams and framing, which all add to its casual comfort, making this a true island get away. You can feed sea turtles off the dock, snorkel in the crystal clear water of Coco Bay, or relax on the elevated porch and enjoy the scenery. There are two buildings on the property with the main house consisting of two bedrooms and 1.5 bathrooms plus an elevated wrap around porch to take in the 180 degree views of the bay.
In the main house you will find a full kitchen with stainless steel refrigerator, gas stove/oven, microwave and dishwasher, coffee maker, toaster, pots and pans and dishes. A washer and dryer is available for use on rentals of 8 or more days. Off the kitchen to the left you will find a half bath. The living room with water views all around has a ceiling fan and french doors to let the sea breeze blow through as well as AC. The french doors lead out to the large wrap around porch where you will find Adirondack chairs as well as table and chairs to enjoy a meal or morning coffee.
In addition to the main house, there is a guest cottage (required on Major Holidays) that has a bedroom, full kitchen, full bath, and it's own elevated porch. The guest cottage is available for an additional $150/Night plus $50 cleaning fee. (Guest cottage is not included in pricing so let us know if you would like to include it)
Other amenities include a flat screen smart tv (cable is not available on this part of the island but you can still curl up with Netflix or You Tube), dvd player, small collection of movies, BBQ grill, and blue tooth sound bar. Bath towels and bed linens are provided, please bring your beach towels. High speed wireless internet onsite.
Last but not least, The property has some of the BEST DOCKAGE in the Abacos. We have a 35' center console and have never had less than 3 feet under the boat even at the lowest of tides. This is due to the fact there is a deep water channel cut all the way to the dock. Being inside the bay, the dock is protected from even the fiercest of winds. Your boat will stay safe and protected here.
Boating wise- you can get offshore immediately around the north end of the Island as long as you are attentive to your depth finder, and Pig Beach is immediately South of Green Turtle.
NOTES: The cost for the main house is as listed at $400 per night, if you would like to rent the guest cottage as well the price increases by $150 per night plus an additional $50 to the cleaning fee.
For all major holidays we require both the main house and guest house to be rented for at least 7 days.
If you choose not the rent the guest house for your stay we will never rent it to another guest. The property is yours to enjoy.
