Come enjoy a getaway in the quiet country and enjoy the beautiful view... watch the stars twinkle, listen to the swans sing and frogs croaking on warm summer evenings... come relax close to nature... Location: 80 mi from Minneapolis, 45 mi north of Eau Claire and 6 mi from Barron. In the heart of beautiful Wisconsin. The Farm: We are a small organic dairy farm located on 200 acres of woods and pastures. Roosters crow, four wheeler, gator, tractors and skid-steer are driving around through-out the day. {Please supervise your child if you are outside.} Also please assume the wire fence is shocking unless we let you know otherwise… come see the baby calves(in springtime), hold the kitties and watch the hens hustle n bustle about looking for bugs. The Farmhouse B&B: this house was built around 2009. A beautiful rustic Farmhouse, with plenty of space to share with friends and guests! Your room and bathroom is located on main floor...{your room features rustic handmade furniture, a handmade quilt & soft Jersey sheets}. Our quarters are upstairs. The [Farmhouse] nook is there especially for you. Enjoy a cup of tea or coffee in a handmade pottery mug… help yourself to homemade granola, and there's apple juice, fresh [organic valley] chocolate milk, plain milk and creamer for your coffee in the mini fridge. We love our dairy and we hope you love dairy products:) The house is heated with a wood cook stove. The perfect place to warm up after being outside in the cold. But please use caution because it can be hot! A delicious homemade breakfast will be served between 7:30 - 10am. I will have a detailed menu for you to choose from when you arrive. A few options are... Bumble-Berry Coffee Cake, Dutch Cradle, Farmer breakfast, Cinnamon rolls(made by a friend), old fashioned cornbread and gravy. I also have several allergy friendly options. {The milk and eggs are farm fresh. Compliments from our hens and cows.} Side notes. *We have a pack n play available. * Coming soon is a family suite in the basement!! 2 bedrooms and a bathroom. *We are still working at putting the finishing touches in the house and our landscaping outside…. Also we are in the middle of building new winter barn for our milking cows, heifers and baby calves … so please just drive past the construction zone and on up the hill to the house. :)
