St. C is 25 miles long and five miles wide with a tropical rainforest at one end and a desert at the other. The island has ruins of 150 windmills and great plantations, including Whim Greathouse Museum, open to the public. In addition to fine dining and great shops, St. Croix has a botanical garden, world class golf courses, a casino, kayaking, horseback riding, and body and wind surfing.
Home to Cruzan Rum -- voted the best rum in the world -- and Captain Morgan, you can visit their factories to see how rum is made and visit their tasting rooms! You can also take back 6 bottles of spirits duty-free as long as one of them is rum!
