Come into this warm detailed River House where you can sink down into the leather furniture in the living room and enjoy the view of the river, or watch one of two 55 inch flat screen TV's, or sit out on the upper level balcony that surrounds the entire house to view the quiet water of the river, jet skier's, boats, canoeing, kayaking, fishing & tubing. You can view the river up close & personal considering 1/2 of the house is over the river, 1/2 over land. So much incredible attention to detail throughout the house. Each bedroom and bathroom has it's own theme. Master Bedroom (king size bed) & Bathroom which includes a double-sink vanity, bath & shower, 1 Bedroom (Queen size bed) Bathroom with shower downstairs and 1 Bedroom (Full size and Twin size bed) and Bathroom with shower upstairs. Electric Full Size Blow-Up Mattress. Flat screen TV's in the living room, kitchen & all three bedrooms.Ceiling fans in every room to ensure your comfort. Full equipped kitchen with all new stainless appliances. This Rustic River House has Beautiful Wood Floors and Walls throughout the house. If you want to feel like you are away from home on vacation, this is this place. You are surrounded with rustic elegance including deer, fish and a couple of ducks to add to the ambiance. 20 foot ceilings and a wall of windows to capture the view of the river. Enjoy the many outdoor amenities, three boat slips, large fenced yard, fishing /sunbathing deck, coffee deck with table & chairs over the water, covered deck with patio table for dining outside. Stroll down to the fire pit and roast some hot dogs or marshmallows, charcoal grill provided as well. Be sure to bring your camera for the spectacular cypress trees and spanish moss. Going down the river is like a scene in the movie "The Notebook". Take a Tour of the River on Captain Ron's Swamp Tour Boat, it goes right in front of our house. Easy access to Caddo Lake, Caddo State Park, RiverBend Restaurant, Big Pines Restaurant, Shady Glade Marina & Cafe, Uncertain Flea Market, the town of Jefferson (known for their Famous Antique Shops and Only 45 minutes to the Shreveport/Bossier Casino's.This will become your Home Away from Home.....

Summary: The house and surroundings are wonderful. We looked out across the water to trees in fall colors, the night sky was dark as could be, and the quiet was such a treat. My mother is 96 and can't do stairs, so having the elevator made it possible for us to visit a place she dearly wanted to see again. Shelia and Robert were terrific in communication and making this trip possible. We hope to be back in the spring. I highly recommend a stay there.
