The Anchorage is set just above Eype Beach, on the stunning Jurassic Coast - a World Heritage area and close to the historic market town of Bridport. It is a peaceful haven, enabling you to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, with the pebbly beach 100m away - great for skimming stones, and fossil hunting. The Anchorage is located close to many of the filming locations featured in the hit TV series Broadchurch. West Bay is a 20 minute walk along the cliff path, with its picturesque harbour and many fish and chip stalls. The beautiful town of Lyme Regis is a 25 minute drive along the coast road. Bedroom 1 has a double bed, bedroom 2 has a triple sleeper bunk (double bed and single over) and bedroom 3 has a bunk bed (2 x single beds). Open plan kitchen and living space. Bathroom with shower and bath. Deck area with picnic bench, great for sipping a glass of wine while watching the sun go down. Well behaved dogs are welcome, by prior arrangement. The chalet is set in a grassy field close to the sea, down a beautiful single-track lane. In high season and on sunny weekends the lane can get busy, but your patience is rewarded with the sea air and the wonderful view. The beach is 2 mins walk away (access is across the field and down some steps).
