Welcome to Falu House! Named after the Swedish red paint that many Nordic country houses wear due to their mining history, we hope our Lafayette, Colorado house is just as comforting.
The main floor consists of a living room, study, kitchen, dining room and half bath. Upstairs offers four bedrooms with two queen bedrooms (one with en suite bathroom), a bunk and twin room, a daybed and trundle with desk, and a full bath that opens to the hallway. Enjoy the front and back porches as additional living spaces and a large shaded backyard. Laundry access in the basement is available upon request with a fee.
Immediately adjacent to the house is access to the Waneka Lake walking trail. Wildlife and beautiful sunrises or sunsets can be viewed on the one mile walk around the lake. A playground, boathouse, 9-hole disc golf course, and the Greenlee Wildlife Preserve are also located at Waneka Lake.
The Lafayette and Louisville community is alive with activity and there may be little reason to leave. Award winning breweries, restaurants, shopping, art exhibits, and peaceful trails are just the beginning. However, Denver, the Rocky Mountains, and everything the front range has to offer is all in close proximity and just a short trip away!
