Summary: The hotel itself is good. Our suite had a kitchen which was why we chose this hotel. That was good. Overall most of our negatives are not about the hotel itself but the “resort” overall. I thought it would be cohesive, as in one hotel option in a resort that overall offers amenities that all can participate in. In the end, it’s just a hotel on a mountain. There is no restaurant in the hotel, but there is one across the street + one in the Westin beside it. There is no store (that we could find) other than a liquor store that just opened and has mostly empty shelves. There is a cafe that is only open until 1:30pm. There is an activity center with a pool but it’s $45 per person per day to use it. There is no discount for guests to play golf, and the golf itself is massively overpriced for what the experience is. It feels like such a missed opportunity for a more coordinated experience to have more dining options, more activity options, more shopping without having to drive down the mountain to the town itself (basic groceries even). It was nice, from a hotel perspective, but I will never return.
