The home is fully furnished with the master bedroom having a queen size bed with walk in closet, dressers and an armoire and on-suite. Second bedroom also has a bunk bed with a double bed on the bottom and there is additional sleeping possibilities with a hide-a-bed in the living room. Beautiful spaceful yet simple kitchen attaching to the dining area and tv area. A peaceful and quiet get away with 360° mountain views located in Riverside golf course In Fairmont Hot Springs... Quite possibly one of the most beautiful towns in the world! The home is situated only a few minutes walk from the Columbia river, 1km north from Columbia lake & Dutch Creek, walking distance from the hoodoos and Fairmont's own resort trails. There are 16 golf courses within a 30-40 min drive and 3 major ski hills for those looking for ski or golfing getaways.
Invermere is a town of roughly 5000 people and is situated on the north side of Windermere lake 15 minutes drive. This is the closest major center but the stores in Fairmont are equipped with everything one needs if going to Invermere is not what you wish to do.
This home has been well cared for and Is in the perfect location for a true outdoors lover, there is no shortage of things to do and for the first 10 years living here I didn't even need a TV !!! Why would one need that when golfing, hiking, skiing, fishing, boating, rafting, hunting, camping, swimming, biking, kayaking, canoeing, bird/nature watching, climbing & exploring are only a few of the activities to be enjoyed.
There's also a dog run with a dog house in the back and dogs are welcome if they also can respect the home :-)

Summary: Well to start the location was perfect. Exactly where we wanted to stay. My spouse and adult daughter and her spouse. The home was beautiful but the contents of the home furniture was not comfortable and very used. The pictures on the ad do not do it justice. The 2 bedrooms , one for adults but the other is for 3 children. Not conducive to adults to sleep in small bunk beds. The ad says sleeps 6 which means 2 adults and 4 children. The indoor furniture is worn and used and very uncomfortable. The outdoor furniture is falling apart. The kitchen sink needs repair as you turn it on and you have a short shower. The dishwasher is very loud that we only turned it on when we were out as it sounded like an air jet taking off. The house was not clean. Found some fruit on the floor and dirt in the carpet. Overall, the owner needs to make some changes to charge the amount that we paid. However, the owner was very respondent as we had wasp issues and they took care of the issue.
