Completed in 2017, this state-of-the-art modern villa is, from the ground up, built with luxury at its forefront. Secured behind the gates of a private community of villas along the Playa Langosta, Carolina Del Mar is secluded enough to afford guests adequate privacy, yet remains close enough that Tamarindo town is within comfortable walking distance of the villa – as are the beaches. The villa overlooks and has access to a semi-private beach, with beautiful white sand, stretching along the coastline to walk along. The villa itself, combining modern nuance and Spanish colonial influences, features traditional terracotta tiles and magnolia walls, with thoughtfully arranged lighting that highlights the architecture. Magnificent stone balusters line the staircases up to the balconies, which give guests direct access to the multiple patios that are to be found to the rear of the property. An abundance of shaded seating arrangements and comfortable sun loungers to soak up the rays of the Costa Rican light, and an infinity-edge swimming pool overlooking a beautiful sunset view of the Pacific Ocean. A stately fountain adorns the courtyard, surrounded by a landscaped garden to the front of the property, emphasising the opulence of the villa. The interior is just as impressive; at its peak, a 24 ft. high great room, or grand sala as it's known, forms the heart of the house, with an open plan living space that combines dining room, kitchen and lounge areas.
