**TOURIST TAX**
We are required to charge a Municipal Tourist Tax on behalf of Loulé council, on bookings placed as from November 1st, 2024, as published in Diário da República 2nd Serie, no. 140, of July 22nd, 2024.
This tax is calculated up to a maximum of 5 consecutive nights, per person aged 16 or over, and will cost as follows:
- Low Season (from November 1st to March 31st) – 1Eur per person/per night
- High Season (from April 1st to October 31st) – 2Eur per person/per night
The payment of this tax is due in cash upon check-in, or in advance by bank transfer.

Summary: We arrived as a family of six with 2 adults and 4 children (11, 10, 8 & 7). The property was absolutely perfect for our family, safe and secure. Living spaces are excellent and the villa is really clean. The outside space offers a brilliant place for family freedom and fun with lawned and terraced areas. We had a problem with the pool as it was not clean when we arrived but immediately Paulo from Vilamoura Villas jumped in to help us. Within hours an army of people were there to try and rectify the pool situation. As soon as it became clear that the pool would not be rescued we were moved to another brilliant villa (Villa Casanova in the old village area) and a taxi was thrown on. We could not have been better looked after. Paulo was an absolute star and so helpful, he even went out of his way to check we were ok and settled in the new villa. You cannot ask for better support. We will definitely use Vilamoura Villas again thanks to Paulo. Paulo even helped us in locating the right and open supermarkets when we needed initial support as we arrived during a national holiday. A fantastic holiday and experience thanks to Paulo of Vilamoura Villas, he deserves a massive pat on the back.
