Positive: The location is amazing, super close to Hongik Univ. Station and to Hongdae, with lots of restaurants and convenience stores and shopping opportunities and entertainment very close by. There's a washing machine and a rack to hang the laundry, and a fridge. Airconditioning works fine.
Negative: We did not receive the check-in information before, as told, so we had to call (expensive because international call) to receive the information as there was no reaction to our messages. The water collects in front of the bathroom door when taking a shower so the shower mat thingie was always dripping wet and did not dry until the next evening. It is pretty cramped for three people but for the price I'm guessing you would be hard pressed to find more spacious accommodation. There is really no space to retreat and have some time to yourself, though, so make sure you travel with people you can be around 24/7. Music from parties around the neighborhood can be faintly heard in the room, but did not pose a problem for us. Maybe bring earplugs if you're sensible. And finally there was just one mosquito every night that survived and drank its fill no matter how many we killed.
