Positive: The location is fabulous for easy access to the Western lakes, with fabulous hikes right from the doorstep. Close to St Bees for the beach and Whitehaven harbour. Shops for groceries and petrol are close by. The house has four very spacious double beds/rooms and a well equipped kitchen and separate utility room with a washing machine and tumble dryer. A beautiful bathroom with a bath and shower. My grandchildren loved all the indoor space. There isn't any outdoor space, but after days out, it wasn't needed. Parking is easy on the road outside. The management team was easy to contact if you had a problem. My mattress had a problem with some springs and was promptly changed the next day. We would definitely visit again.
Negative: Another sofa in the living room would be welcome and make the comfort level a 10.
