The Space:
Walk in to the grand entrance and immediately notice the stunning views of the lake. The office, garage, and a closet with life vests, golf clubs, and some other amenities are on this level. A few steps down will take you to the main living space with wood burning fireplace and gourmet kitchen. This level features a large balcony with cozy outdoor furniture overlooking the fire pit area, dock, and beautiful Lake Naci. Retreat to the primary bedroom, gorgeous en suite bathroom, gas fireplace, and more epic views from large picture windows. The next level features another bedroom with a king bed and even more lake views. The bottom floor is a game room with a poker table, a closet full of games, a Smart TV, and another expansive balcony with comfortable patio furniture overlooking the lake. Three bedrooms are attached to the game room, one with a king-size bed, and two much smaller rooms with twin bunks. There's a large comfortable sectional, a pack-and-play, and a blow-up mattress as well. Though this home sleeps many guests, the HOA does restrict guests to 8 adults and the remainder of guests must be children under the age of 16.
The Neighborhood
Oak Shores is a gated lakeside community with resort amenities. The lake view pool and shade deck are located next to the clubhouse on Turkey Cove, overlooking the main marina, and is typically open Easter weekend to Halloween weekend. The playground next to the pool and clubhouse is the perfect setting to bring the kids and grand-kids to play. The 18 hole mini golf course is a favorite among guests, and golf clubs are included with the vacation rental. There's also a pickleball court, small library, and many events throughout the year. There are also many HOA rules that are strictly enforced. Make sure to read through your paperwork carefully.

House Rules
1. Communication is key!Check in after 4pm. Check out by 11am. Our office hours are between 8am-9pm, so please communicate between those hours. Guests must arrive before 7pm, otherwise the gates will close!
2. ALL guests coming to the house must be disclosed on your form. 8 adults max (Oak Shores counts anyone 16 an older as an adult) Pets are NOT allowed.
3. No unauthorized parties! Please treat the lodge as if it's your own lake house. No smoking of any kind. Removal of smoke detectors is illegal. Loud music, excessive rowdiness, excessive drinking, smoking, etc. will result in a $5,000 party fine plus HOA fines. Quiet hours are from 10pm to 7am. Pool hours are from 9am-10pm.
4. Be respectful! When using outdoor areas (patios, bbq, fire pit), game room games and poker table, and other provided amenities, please clean up after yourself so the next guests can enjoy them as well. If something is wrong, low, or out, please let us know so we can fix it. Please let life jackets dry before hanging them back in the front closet.
5. Have fun! Our goal is to host a vacation to remember. If this doesn't sound like a good fit, let us know what you're looking for and we can point you in the right direction. The HOA rules need to be followed exactly, please don't think you're going to sneak people, extra cars, boats, or pets in. They will turn you around at the gate.
6. Be a local! You're welcome to take advantage of all the Oak Shores amenities and lake access, but please be respectful of the facilities. Don't leave trash outside where it will attract wild animals. There is a provided trash bin for your convenience. If you park your boat on the street, it must be attached to your vehicle, but there is boat parking at the house that is off the street!
BEFORE YOU BOOK
Parking:
Only two vehicles may park on the property at any time. (If you have more than two vehicles, a $15/ day permit per vehicle is required, and you must park in the designated parking lot which is NOT within walking distance of the house.). There is also boat parking at the property, in addition to parking for two vehicles.
Rental Agreement Required: Upon booking please be ready to confirm all guests' names and vehicles entering the community. Only guests whose names are on the registration will be allowed past the gate.
ENTRY: Guests must arrive before 7 pm. Gate hours are from 7a-7p throughout your stay.
Guest Requirements:
Max 8 adults per reservation. (Oak Shores defines an adult as 16+ years old)
Bringing a Boat?
Prepayment is required prior to arrival. Guests must call the Entrance Gate & have CF# ready along with the trailer’s information for the screening. This needs to be done at least 48 hours before the CHECK IN. You may park the boat and trailer in the driveway or boat parking provided, but you may not park the boat and trailer on the street UNLESS it is still hooked up to a vehicle. Trailer parking at the boat ramp is not permitted. Drop off your party with the boat in the lake, then take the trailer back to the house and park it in the driveway. There is lake access from the house.
Failure to prepay for a watercraft within this time frame will result in an additional fee of $100.
This home provides a dock NOT a boat slip. The dock is shared with the adjoining house.There is a tie-up spot on either side of the dock that belongs to each home. The owner keeps a rental boat on the lift.
HOA:
We are located in a prestigious community, so make sure to follow the rules exactly to avoid tickets and fines. Two vehicles max, no pets, and no guests who are not on the reservation list. Guests must arrive during gate operating hours or they will not be able to enter the property. The community is a lake-side community. Lots of boats and wildlife. Please do not pet or feed the deer. They are wild animals. This is a great neighborhood and is very fun and the residents are super friendly, however, the HOA is incredibly strict, so we ask that you abide by the rules exactly. If you have any questions, please ask.
