'La Buena Vida' is a beautiful custom home overlooking the Sea of Cortez. Relax on the huge sun deck and enjoy the ocean breezes, as you sip on a margarita and watch for dolphins swimming by. Located in the private, guarded, beachfront community of Las Conchas; about 15 minutes from the bustling center of Puerto Penasco, or 'Rocky Point' as Arizonans refer to it. Just a 3.5 to 4 hour drive from Phoenix or Tucson; Rocky Point is close enough for a weekend visit, but a world away from the stress of daily life. Located on the second tier of Las Conchas; there is only one house between you and the beachfront. This house sits high enough that it has beautiful, panoramic ocean views. On a clear day, you can see across the gulf all the way to distant Baja California, right from the sun deck and the great room. This home is just steps away from the beautiful, uncrowded sandy beach! The beach offers miles of open space for walking, shell-hunting, sunbathing and fishing. The Sea of Cortez has the third-highest tidal variations in the world; giving you a beautiful beach to play on at high tide, and fascinating tide pools to explore at low tide. The locals often come by in boats and offer you the opportunity to take a thrilling ride on a banana boat along the coast, or to go for a horseback ride on the beach. Venture into town, and you will find plenty of vendors offering fishing charters, snorkel and scuba diving trips, parasail rides, and jet ski rentals. This large, well-maintained custom home has four bedrooms and four and a half bathrooms. There are three master suites; all with en-suite full baths. Two of the master suites feature sliding patio doors leading to the sun deck; have ocean views, and are fitted with king-size beds. The third master suite features a double bed and a window with an ocean view. The fourth bedroom has a bunk bed, plus two twin beds and, while the bathroom is not an en-suite, it does have its own bathroom located right next to this bedroom. The beds in the four bedrooms sleep up to 10 people. Maximum occupancy for the house is 8 people. The kitchen is fully outfitted for your needs. A standard size refrigerator, a four-burner electric stove, full-size oven, a dishwasher, and a microwave. A coffee maker, blender, crock-pot, and fryer are also included. Pots and pans, cooking utensils, kitchen linens, silverware, and an abundance of dishes are all there for your use. Linens are also provided for the bedrooms and bathrooms. The center of Puerto Penasco is a short 10 to 15 minute drive away. There, you will find everything you might want; including restaurants, souvenirs, pharmacies, liquor stores, bakeries, hardware stores, freshly caught fish and seafood, ice cream shops, jewelry stores, banks and gas stations.
