Welcome to Emerald Lodge, a tiny house nestled deep in the woods and mountains of Washington. A home away from home to escape the city life. With many beautiful windows opening up a large interior space and amenities of a full house this house is tiny by name only. Emerald Lodge is located in between Arlington and Darrington. It is approximately 5 miles east of the Town of Oso. Please check your maps to make sure that this location is appropriate for your stay. The house is not located near the city of Arlington. (Arlington county covers a large distance) The space Emerald Lodge has two full beds, one in the loft and one on the ground floor that rolls out. The loft bed can be reached by the stairs and at night you can view the stars through the skylight while lying on the pillow. A unique feature of my house is the large bathtub with a huge skylight, so you can view the stars at night while singing in the shower. The kitchen contains a small fridge, a microwave, an electric hotplate, and a coffee maker. The interior is modern rustic design and is cooled and heated with a mini-split AC/Heater. So, you’ll never have to worry about coming home to the perfect temperature to relax after a long day outside. The space around Emerald Lodge is shared by a few neighbors and there is a community fire pit that can be utilized. Guest access Guest will be provided a code to unlock the door. Parking will be next to the house in a designated spot. Interaction with guests You are welcome to text and call me throughout the stay with questions and comments. I do not live on the property so please reach out to me first. I am always looking to improve your experience. Other things to note Please note that pets are not allowed in the tiny house. The bathroom contains a composting toilet but it was built with comfort and cleanliness in mind. There is also a step down into the bathtub so take care. There are cats on the property but none of them go into the house so if you have cat allergies the house will be a welcoming place. I also have an air purifier in the house to scrub the air for an even cleaner tiny house experience. There are bugs and mosquitoes on the property so bring plenty of bug spray.
