Islands at Mauna Lani Q-1: You will love this spacious 2 story LUXURIOUS Villa which has everything you need for a fun and relaxing vacation! Surrounded by lush tropical landscaping and walking distance in just 10 minutes via a scenic trail to the Mauna Lani beaches and fishponds. Your villa is conveniently located across from and the Mauna Lani Spa and tennis club where you can drop in for massages and a workout for a fee.
The outdoor lanai has a private setting with BBQ and dining for 6. The gourmet kitchen is fully stocked. Each of the two bedrooms and the living are and dining area has their own private lanais with comfortable seating.
This Villa, although a 2 bedroom, can SLEEP 6-7. It has a King Size bed in the Master Bedroom, 2 singles in the Guest bedroom. (that can be converted to a King upon your request, ).. and a large size day bed in the den/nook area upstairs.... great for a child or teenager. In addition, the owner has purchased 2 EZ pop up Twin Beds from FRONTGATE. You can sleep 7 in this large 2 story villa and have plenty of room to entertain the friends and family. The Villa includes a detached double car garage with all the items necessary for a fun island vacation…beach chairs, cooler, snorkel gear, boogie boards and beach toys. Free Wireless internet available. The resort pool is just steps away with waterfall.
This condo is elegant, comfortable and central to everything Mauna Lani offers. You can walk to the Shops at Mauna Lani and enjoy cocktails at Tommy Bahama, steaks and seafood at Ruth Chris, French-Hawaiian cuisine at The Blue Room, or Asian Pacific fare at Monestera's. There are free luau shows at the center stage at The Shops at Mauna Lani that you will be sure to enjoy, complete with fire dancers. You can rent bicycles, surfboards, paddle boards, and kayaks within the resort.

Summary: Beautiful & comfortable with a few minor issues.This property is amazing but the listing isn't entirely accurate. It's listed as king bed and 10 minute walk to beaches. It's a queen & the walk is 15-20 minutes at a fast pace. Also several maintenance issues I notified the host of so hopefully they resolve before future stays.The villa is huge, comfortable, private. Has every kitchen & bath amenity, games, books, nice bath & beach towels/chairs/toys. Pool is a very short walk away. Walk to beach was fine unless you bring stuff. Path is unlevel & meanders through a lava field & around the fish ponds, a nice walk, but not direct. Driving was much easier, the access card is included, but parking was frequently full. The "private" beach club was very busy but has a nice sandy beach and good snorkeling. Lots of rocks and coral under water, watch your toes in the shallow water! The beach restaurant was fancy and required reservations, not a place to order beach drinks or snacks.Arrival was slightly confusing so including to help others. A code is needed to drive into the gated community. A door code was provided so I expected a key pad but there was none. No outside light was left on for us so we fumbled around & found a key box on the sidewalk gate, which was already open so not very obvious. The code opens the box with the house key in it. Install the garage door app from code inside the garage.Overall, great & convenient for a family of 4 adults, definitely recommend!
