Positive: Beautiful location, quiet and peaceful. The grounds are really well kept with lots of spots to sit and get out of the sun on a hot day. The kids loved the pool, good size for laps and splashing about. The apartment was compact but good for our needs (three adults and two kids). There are five apartments in total on the property (two downstairs and three upstairs). Would book again, but maybe one of the other apartments that seemed to have slightly bigger kitchen/ sitting areas. Good spot to visit the local hill towns of Narni and Amelia, and larger towns a bit further away. The people who met us at the property were lovely!
Negative: The description wasn’t quite what we expected as not actually three bedrooms- is two bedrooms and a single bed up on a mezzanine level that is above the living/ kitchen area. One bedroom has a double, the other a double and a single (not bunk beds as described). Would be fine for three kids to share but we were with my mum who had hoped for her own room so ended up on the mezzanine level (not so private and stairs were a bit steep for her- but would be fine for someone younger than 78!). The terrace/ balcony area just off the apartment is shared but that worked fine with the guests in the other apartments and there are lots of areas on the property to go and sit, eat and relax to get space to yourself. We’ve offered to help the agent with the description in English so may have been updated since we booked.
