Located on a quiet low-traffic street in the popular Casa Linda Estates neighborhood, walking distance to great restaurants, Albertsons, and Starbucks; one mile from White Rock Lake. Traditional 1939 home built on more than a half acre of heavily treed gardens, with a large two car separate garage. The back yard is gated and fenced and provides a great place to relax. The house is decorated with Texas art and original hardwood antiques, and has only been in two families since its construction {location is great and they never want to leave}. The home is well maintained, with modern HVAC, original hardwood floors, vintage kitchen cabinets, new full-sized refrigerator and dishwasher, gas range, and granite counters. Two large living areas, one with the original 1939 streamline moderne gas fireplace, and one with a large dining table and a separate sitting area with 60 inch smart tv. The bedrooms each have king sized beds with their own 60 inch smart tvs. A third bedroom is currently a study, with the ability to place a twin sized bed if needed. The bathrooms have been updated, and there is a breakfast area with a view of the back yard garden. Ceiling fans and air conditioning in every room keep the home cool in the summer. Multiple desks and tables provide many locations for working at home. The oversized garage (686 sq ft) has room for two cars, with additional parking on the driveway. The back yard is enclosed and great for pets.
Casa Linda Estates is a unique and popular neighborhood, and the house is very close to the Casa Linda Mall and one mile from White Rock Lake.
