Positive: What a location - so close to the beach and amazing views over the bay! Eagles Nest ensuite room was comfortable and clean - well-equipped with a fridge, microwave, sink and tea-making facilities. Quirky room with large comfortable double bed and bunk beds. Added bonus of a hammock to lie in whilst enjoying the sea view, and binoculars to see further afield - we enjoyed watching the sailing boats racing in the bay, and the shoals of mackerel and eager fishermen on the beach. Free car parking close by. Hosts were welcoming and friendly, informative on local facilities etc. Pwllheli is a great little town with local shops, supermarkets, petrol station, marina, nature reserve and family-friendly sandy beach.
Negative: This is NOT a dislike as we enjoyed walking up 3 flights of stairs to the room, as it gave us the advantage of the incredible sea views over the beach and bay. But bear in mind, there are 3 flights of stairs if you have mobility issues.
