This cabin is rustic yet elegant, with a rock interior wall in the kitchen with apron sink, butcher block cabinet tops and stainless appliances. There is a grand rock wood fireplace, stained concrete floors, deep soaking tub in the master bath. The cabin has a bedroom and bath downstairs and bedroom and bath upstairs. Big covered porch on front with a newly added hot tub and patio coming off kitchen dining room.

Summary: The Eagles Nest Cabin was cozy, yet not crowded. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was very well stocked. We enjoyed sitting outside with our coffee in the mornings and nice walks in the neighborhood. Our hosts seemed to have thought of every thing a guest might want or need - games and puzzles for inside days, outside games for nice days. It was a great jump off point for exploring the Wichita Mountains Wildlife Refuge. We enjoyed our stay very much.
