The Space:
Dunalley Bay Beachfront Retreat by Tiny Away is located in the heart of the Tasman Peninsula, offering stunning views of Mt. Wellington, spectacular sunsets, and breathtaking sand formations. Conveniently situated halfway between Hobart and the historic Port Arthur Historic Site, our holiday home provides easy access to a variety of attractions and activities.
Hiking enthusiasts will love the nearby Cape Hauy Track, known for its dramatic coastal scenery. Don’t miss the Tessellated Pavement, a unique natural rock formation just a short detour away, or the panoramic views from Fossil Bay Lookout.
For those who enjoy fine spirits, our on-site Dunalley Bay Distillery offers award-winning gin, whisky, and rum—with complimentary tastings included during your stay. Just a short drive away, Bangor Vineyard and Bream Creek Vineyard await, offering some of Tasmania’s finest wines.
This cozy 139-square-foot tiny home features a queen-sized bed with cotton linens, a plush mattress, and a selection of pillows. Split air conditioning, a kitchenette equipped with cooking essentials, and excellent bathroom facilities. These amenities include an eco-friendly cassette toilet, hand basin, and gas-heated shower—making it a perfect choice among relaxing holiday homes.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Due to the tiny house's proximity to the road, some minor noise may be audible. To enhance your experience, we’ve installed a “Noise Barrier” behind the tiny home to minimise any disruption.
Guest Access:
Guests will have access to our cozy tiny home and are welcome to explore the beach. Please note that "Private Area" signs will be displayed around the property—kindly stay out from entering these areas.
Breakfast can be arranged with at least 3 days’ advance notice, at an additional cost.
SPECIAL TREAT! Guests will enjoy a complimentary tasting at our tasting room. A Lunch Special at $55 for 2 people is available for purchase at Dunalley Bay Distillery, 11 Fulham Rd, Dunalley (4min drive). Please check with the host or Google for details.
EXTRA LUXURY AWAITS! Unwind in our outdoor wood-fired tub for two (for a fee) — the perfect spot to relax and stargaze in style. Please note this is unavailable during fire bans. It will take up to 2.5 hours to heat up the water.

Other Things to Note:
- Pets are welcome with 24 hours' notice. Pets under 15 kg are preferred. A $30 fee applies per pet, per stay (with prior arrangement) to be paid directly to the land host. They'll enjoy a comfy bed, treats, and a toy! Full policy sent before arrival.
- No unregistered guests or visitors are allowed
- Mobile phone reception has a good signal with Telstra and Optus, while Vodafone weak signal.
- We would like to advise guests that longer stays or later check-outs will incur an additional charge
- No Smoking inside the tiny home, except outdoors. Kindly dispose of cigarette butts responsibly, not on the grass.
