Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: It is warm and clean, parking is easy, and the location is quiet. The price is very reasonable. The property has a large shared garden, laid mostly to lawn, which would be a nice place to spend time in the warmer months. Our kids enjoyed having that space to run around in.

Negative: Could hear the residents of the other holiday let upstairs very well, and they could hear us. There's a problem with the oven (it trips the electric) so it's not really useful. I wasn't sent the code to get into the key safe on arrival, so I had to call the emergency contact - whose phone was off. Eventually called cottages.com to find that information out, but I could have done without that faff after a long drive.

Summary: Clean, cosy, good value, but slightly noisy
