Nested in the heart of the Cotswolds, just five miles from beautiful Regency town of Cheltenham, Dryhill is a luxurious four hundred year old five bedroom rural Cotswold house built on the site of an ancient Roman villa and vineyard; replanted just this year with 2000 vines. This gorgeous country house has been lovingly crafted and is very reflective of the owner's travels to India, Africa and beyond. And it is ideal for entertaining family and friends having six reception rooms as well as the large kitchen breakfast room. Set in mature terraced gardens of fig, clematis and rambling roses and surrounded by its own private 14 rural acres high on the Crickley Hill Escarpment at the end of a private sweeping drive, Dryhill has 'Out of Africa' views and provides epic sunsets. A very luxurious retreat, it can accommodate up to 12 guests with its sister one bedroom Dryhill Cottage, Dryhill also has the most romantic (gated) wooded glade with with two small spring-fed lakes, a little oasis equipped with barbecue and Safari tent it is ideal for sundowners and intimate barbecues. And if you like Wild Water, you can swim in the larger of the two lakes. Dryhill is ideally located to enjoy the natural beauty of the area located as it is just under the historic Crickley Hill Country Park and just off the famous Cotswold Way that runs from Chipping Campden in the north to Bath in the south.
