An unbelievable mountain home surrounded by nearly 40 acres of rolling fields, with trails wandering through ponderosa pine forests, high desert juniper and yucca. As soon as you arrive you will see the magic of this property and it's proclivity to allow it's guests to relax and fully unwind.
Enjoy coffee on the porch with an unobstructed view of some of the most beautiful mountains in the area. It's unbelievable quiet here, and only 2.5 miles from the town of Mancos - the best of both worlds!
The night sky is dark and the stars are unreal! Mesa Verde which is only 11 miles away was just recently designated as an "International Dark Sky Park" learn more here: https://www.darksky.org/mesa-verde-idsp-certification/. You can lay in the master bedroom and look out the window at the night sky - it's like camping with the comforts of home!
There are hiking/walking trails all around the property for you to explore right out the back door. A grill outside makes it a great place to cook and have a great meal with your family. The kitchen is really the center of the home - space for large groups and all the amenities you need to make and enjoy every meal of the day.
Wine and Spirits are available and stocked to save you a trip to the liquor store. They are priced at retail so you get the same or better prices without having to take a drive! If there are particular interests, please let me know as I can stock accordingly!
