Positive: We had a lovely time staying here – the location is perfect, right in the heart of Varenna, and communication with the host was quick and easy. The room was clean and comfortable, and overall, it was a very pleasant stay.
Negative: 8/10 based on a few small improvements that could make the experience even better: it would be great to have a spot in the shower to place toiletries, as well as a look into the shower drainage (it fills up quite quickly and leaks slightly at one corner). The water temperature was okay – not especially warm, but still comfortable. Also, while the air conditioning worked well, it sounded like there might be a minor fault as we could hear water refilling constantly. Lastly, a tea towel in the kitchen would have been handy!
