Beautiful rustic lodge directly across from a pristine, Lake Superior sand beach just 8 miles east of Marquette and 28 miles west of Munising. Nestled among red pines on a bird sanctuary pond next to the North Country Trail. Nearby trails are perfect for biking, hiking, snowshoeing, skiing. Come enjoy a sauna, campfires, paddle boats, volleyball, and maybe even the northern lights since we are just the right distance away from city lights! There are two completely separate sides to this 4500 sq foot lodge (it is basically a duplex), and we sometimes stay in the other side; however, the only shared space is the back deck that has a nice grill, patio table, and sunset bar. You have full, private access to 2.5 bedrooms, 2 full baths (one has a small sauna), a full kitchen, dinette, dining room, wood stove heat (with supplied wood), a front yard that has a stone labyrinth, a backyard that has hammocks, a large grill, two nice fire-pits (with supplied wood), a sunset view bar-top, and numerous sunset-viewing seats and swings. The only heat is a large, cozy wood stove, which we are available to help with, if you would like us to. Plenty of wood is provided.
