This quaint 2 bedroom, lower-level apartment in a beautiful lakeside home. Private entrance. Perfect for a small family or a couple looking for a relaxing lakeside getaway. You will enjoy all the amenities of a large lakeside home, with a beautiful covered patio to grill and hang out. Plenty of seating on the dock and stairs to access the water. There is even a small beach if the water level is not high. Kayaks and Paddleboard are available for your use, as well as a jet ski lift and a place to tie your boat at the dock. The separate upstairs will be occupied from Sunday evening until Tuesday. Two dogs at least one year or older, up to date on all shots, and up to date on flea and tick medication are welcome, but must be approved prior and will require an additional fee. Summary: My family and I stayed here during the weekend of 8/18/2023. As noted, this space is the basement suite of the main house. There is spacious living and sleeping areas. The kitchen is well appointed and we took advantage of the gas grill and fire pit. We did rent a boat for the day and were able to pull it up to the dock without any issues. The water is plenty deep at around 8 feet around the dock itself. WIFI is available but it is DSL so the speeds are slow. I ran a speed test and was getting just at 4 MEG down and .5 MEG up. I was able to do a zoom meeting with video provided I called into the meeting for the audio and that no one else was really using the internet. We were able to hit a number of the local places to eat and enjoyed them all. This location is very convenient to the options that are available. I think the only two minor things that would improve the stay would be a mirror and dresser in the master bedroom. With only 1 bath, the mirror would come in quite handy to help the fam keep getting ready while other showered. The dresser would be nice especially if staying for a longer time. We will be back.
