Looking for a quiet place to stay a week, month, or long weekend? You have found the place. This place is really clean and quiet. The Pink Flamingo has house rules. No smoking/vaping, no pets, we do not tolerate excessive drinking, drugs, loud music or sex outside or pool area. We do provide a park pass to Carney Island that has grills, covered picnic area and sandy beaches to swim, Little Lake Weir or Lake Weir. Ocklawaha has a quiet ordinance starting at 9:00 pm. The Pink Flamingo is set in a neighborhood area, with children and older adults. We have a respected business and expect The Pink Flamingo to be respected. Owners' residence is next door. Newly constructed in 2019. Has tile shower BR, kitchenette, living room, loft queen bedroom, Wi-Fi, heated pool (May-Sept). Quiet neighborhood in a small town. Near Carney Island park 5 mi, Orange Blossom Opry 5 mi, Grand Oaks resort 8.5 mi, Ocala 17 mi, The Villages 9 mi, I-75 about 10 miles. Gator Joe's Beach Bar & Grill and Ma Barker's bar are each less than a mile away. Eaton's Beach is about 5 mi.

Summary: A very comfortable quiet space and great location. It was a great base for our mountain biking and kayaking vacation. It was close to any amenities we needed and an easy drive to Daytona for a day on the beach. We really enjoyed the Marion County Parks pass as well. Thanks again for having us.
